These past few weeks have been crazy fun times. I guess It all started with Rev & Troy's fabulous MASH party. i got to see many of my friends, found out i may be related to a one, and got to spend time with a very special guy that i rarely --if ever-- see.

i guess when one door closes, another opens. i've tried hard to keep a friendship with my ex that might not have been a good idea. There's no breathing room for either of us, and i'm not sure how there can be if we talk everyday. it was making the transition hard for me. i had to step back, away from the bridge and try to find another way. Maybe one day, in the future, we'll be able to cope with having seperate lives.

My friend (an ex roommate) came to town, we got to have dinner a few times and spend time together. its funny how two years can change someone. And i suppose it can change your attitude and feelings towards them. i think the most bizarre is integrating a part of my pre-rennie mundane life into my rennie world. The results were pretty good. Without going into detail, i think this is a good start to rekindling an old friendship.

Work has been doing very well. Unfortunately, my brother quit his job today. i just don't understand why he would do such a thing. He said he was tired of waking in the morning and going to a job he hated. How many of us can identify with that statement!? But we --unlike he-- have bills to pay. So we go, we work, we make money, and we enjoy our time to play. i think, and i hope, one day in the future he realizes how much i've done for him and at least appreciates it.

in other 'today' news, it's my Mother's birthday. i got her a food processor. Seriously. why does one need this? isn't a knife and chopping board enough? She told me she wanted one and described it as "Short and round, with a long thing you can put things into." Welli. you can imagine what i was thinking. But i bought her the kitchen gadget and it made her happyi.as did the cash.

My sister's wedding is fast approaching. i need to get a suit or some such to wear to the wedding. Texas August Weddings are usually hot, so i may opt for a light shirt and tie outfit. My sister has been receiving many'o'wedding gifts. i'm actually a bit jealous, i wanna get married just for the kewl stuff. :)

My weekends are booked all the way up until second weekend september. i hope to try to sew some new garb by then, because it'll be not enough time until TRF begins! Maybe i can squeeze in a doublet and some new tights.

Hi Everyone,

         Things have been so busy lately, I've been blogging and after reading them, I've filed them under 'diary' or something to where only I can see them. Please don't take offense to the persona-non-grata blogs. They're just too personal, too intimate.

So let me tell you a funny story. One of my coworkers was on the phone with her niece who was staying at  her house. They were looking for an extra set of house keys and my co-worker was telling the girl where to look. She directed her to the bedroom and said (at a volume so loud I think the whole building heard her) 'Look in the nightstand, BUT DONT OPEN THE PINK BOX! Don't you open that pink box...NO! Look on the dresser then..." LOL I was just staring at her and laughing hysterically...cuz I can guess whats in that pink box.

I went to San Antonio last weekend. I got to see my doggies... I miss them so much. Both are so silly. They have a baby pool and began jumping in and out and splashing. It's also raining, but they don't care. They have so much fun in that baby pool. Shadow kept picking up toys and bringing them to me so I can throw them, Midnight kept stealing the toys so no one can play with them. Midnight is very jealous if Shadow gives anyone else attention. Later on, they both kept trying to take apart my duffle bag so I couldn't leave again. The damn thing is practically shredded now. Jerry said he would bring the dogs to Houston, I told him there's a huge puppy park near where I work, so I think they would like that. Jerry and I have been doing a lot of talking lately, we agree the distance thing is good for us. My sister had asked me if Jerry was coming to her wedding, so I asked and he said yes. So we get to have a date that weekend. :)

And TRF is just months away! Damn damn damn. I have to start putting together some new garb. Which means I have to get my sewing room set up (table, machine, supplies etc) right now everything is kinda dispersed since I moved to Katy. I need to make some designs and post them soon.
